  • First Aid at Work. Health & Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1999

  • Control of Substances Hazardous to Health Regulations 1999 (COSHH)

  • Manual Handling Operations Guidelines 1992

  • Workplace Health, Safety & Welfare 1992

  • Describe precautions when working with hazardous and non-hazardous material including waste and spillage

  • Describe how to work with people who may pose a risk to health & safety

  • Explain Individual carers’ responses to health & safety

  • Outline the responsibilities of employers and employees related to Lone Worker Safety

  • Explore some of the Myths and Facts of Health & Safety
